Martin Webb

Executive Director

Martin joined KV Aviation in January 2011 and conducts the group’s sales, marketing and operations, based in our Dublin and London offices.
Prior to joining KV Aviation, Martin was the Founding Partner of Clearview Aircraft Investments LLP. In 2010, the business played a pivotal role in the delivery of debt and lease financing for 37 aircraft, with a market value of c.US$1.3bn.
Prior to that, Martin was Head of Aviation Finance at Alliance & Leicester Commercial Finance and was responsible for the construction and development of the bank’s portfolio, which at the time of his departure in December 2008, had a value in excess of US$2bn secured by over 100 aircraft.

Before specialising in aviation finance for Alliance & Leicester, Martin was active and has experience of concluding transactions for UK tax leases for numerous assets classes which included LNG carriers, commercial aircraft, helicopters and shipping containers. He has also worked for the Royal Bank of Scotland and has now spent in excess of 20 years within the asset finance industry. During his career he has concluded transactions with a value in excess of US$5bn.


Chris Waring

Chief Financial Officer

Chris joined KV Aviation in 2009 and is responsible for all finance and accounting activities, based in our Sydney office.
Before joining KV Aviation in 2009, Chris was the Finance Director for Allco Aviation. He was responsible for all aviation finance functions including statutory reporting, tax compliance, management reporting, budgeting, cash planning, fund accounting and investor reporting. Chris also had responsibility for the transaction management team and information systems.
Prior to Allco Aviation, Chris was a chartered accountant with Horwath Sydney Chartered Accountants in the Private Business Advisory division.
Chris received a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales majoring in Accounting and Business Law and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia.


Glenn Husking

Associate Director

Glenn joined KV Aviation in 2009 and is responsible for the administration of KV Aviation’s lease portfolio, based in our Sydney office.
Prior to joining KV Aviation, Glenn was Deal Manager of Allco Aviation. He was responsible for all aspects of the administration of Allco Aviation’s fleet including the issue of all rent and maintenance reserve invoices, and letter of credit and insurance monitoring. Glenn fulfilled the role of liaison between aircraft lessees, security trustees and financiers. Prior to joining Allco Aviation, Glenn provided extensive experience in the administration of asset finance transactions as Senior Manager of Asset Finance Operations at Westpac Institutional Bank, and had also previously worked with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.


John Hambly

Legal consultant

John joined KV Aviation in 2012 and assists with the management of the legal affairs of the KV Group, based in our London office. He is a former partner of the Australian law firm Mallesons Stephen Jaques specialising in aviation.

David Veal

Chief Executive Officer

David is the founder and CEO of KV Aviation, based in our Sydney office.

David has extensive experience in finance and investment banking, predominantly in the leasing of aircraft and infrastructure assets at KV Aviation and prior to that, during his 22 years at Allco.
Until 2009, David was the Global Head of Allco Aviation, where he was responsible for the creation, ongoing development and management of its 68 aircraft, $3.4 billion operating lease portfolio.
Prior to that, David completed a large number of finance leases for aviation, shipping, rail, property and information technology assets, with a total value in excess of $2.0 billion.
David received a Bachelor of Economics and a Master of Economics (Honours) from Sydney University majoring in Operations Research and Economic Statistics.


Chris Barrett

Executive Director

Chris joined KV Aviation in 2015, establishing our Singapore office. He is responsible for investment origination, investor relations and aviation asset sales, marketing and management activities.

Prior to joining KV Aviation, Chris was with Macquarie Group, most recently leading transaction origination (asset marketing and trading) in Asia-Pacific for Macquarie’s aviation finance business, Macquarie AirFinance. He was previously based in San Francisco with the same business, responsible for capital markets (financier relationships), aircraft trading strategy, investment and commercial analysis.

Before joining Macquarie AirFinance, Chris was part of the investment team for Macquarie’s Special Situations Fund, based in Sydney. He commenced his career advising on both principal and third-party M&A transactions in Australia and the US.

Chris holds Bachelor of Business (Finance) and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degrees from the University of Technology, Sydney.


Karine Brunet

Sales & Marketing

Karine joined KV Aviation in 2013 and provides sales and marketing services to KV Aviation, based in our London office.
Prior to joining KV Aviation, Karine was Vice President of Numera Services, an independent advisory boutique. She was responsible for all aspects of the business development from origination to conclusion including structuring/restructuring of leveraged leases, raising asset-financing, structuring aircraft sale and leasebacks, arranging the sale or purchase of assets subject to leases as well as other ad-hoc advisory services. Karine also fulfilled the role of liaison between airlines, corporate, private or institutional investors, financiers and specialist advisors. Prior to joining Numera, Karine was Consultant for Management Consultancy, Euro Log, where she delivered risk management services to major corporations in the energy, transportation and defence industry both in France and the UK.
Karine holds a Master in Management Sciences (majoring in management accountancy and marketing) from Paris Dauphine University and a postgraduate degree in Project Management from Lille University of Science and Technology (France).
